ABOUT Leap of faith 

Leap of Faith provide outdoor adventurous activities for a range of people with various abilities, including those individuals or groups with a disability or additional needs. I have a very patient, fun loving demeanour and will use my ability to build a rapport with participants to gain trust and improve the confidence of individuals.  Whether it's 1:1 tuition, a birthday party, family day out, confidence building or an introduction to the outdoors, we can provide a tailored experience for any individual or group.​

Hi, I am Dave Oxenham, the founder of Leap of Faith Adventures.

​Prior to setting up Leap of Faith Adventures, I had four years of experience working in the outdoor industry, learning my trade at Haven Banks Outdoor Education Centre in Exeter.
I am passionate in seeing individuals thrive and reach their full potential and hope that by spending time with me we can achieve this through outdoor adventure. My favourite outdoor activities are caving, climbing, and canoeing.

Hello, my name is Ali. I will be joining Leap of Faith Adventures as an apprentice where I will gain a Level 3 as an Outdoor Activity Instructor. 
At school I took part in several different outdoor pursuits such as climbing, kayaking and mountain biking. I have always enjoyed a new challenge. 
I completed the Ten Tors 35 miles where I gained resilience, built confidence and valuable team skills. 
My favourite outdoor activities include kayaking and climbing, and I spend a lot of time bouldering at the Quay Climbing Centre, Exeter  
I am passionate about sharing my love for the outdoors with others and I look forward to being part of the team.

Hi, my name's Sam.
​I met Dave while studying at Haven Banks to become an outdoor instructor. Since then, I have been assisting with Leap of Faith's photography, videography, and website as well as providing support on activity days/canoe camps and day-to-day sessions. I have a combined passion for the outdoors and photography and have been lucky enough to combine the two over the years. I am a keen mountaineer and climber. Completing the Two Moors Way, Ten Tors 45 and all 3 of the highest peaks in the UK. I have been fortunate to use my skills to take my camera to places many would not whether that is paddling off the Devon and Cornwall coast or climbing Snowdon in -15 conditions. I love the idea of capturing the moments that makes these adventures so special.
